Creative Workshops

Creative Workshops

We design and facilitate creative workshops that support groups in exploring complex sustainability questions together. Our workshops draw on structured dialogue, interactive exercises, and facilitated reflection. We host both in-person and virtual workshops that are always adapted to the specific topic, group, and aim.

creating space for alternatives

We design our creative workshops to help open up new thinking  patterns. This can be called for when established approaches no longer suffice, when new teams and focus areas are established, or simply when addressing complex challenges. We support groups to surface assumptions, explore dynamics, and test alternative perspectives in a shared space, which in turn supports deeper understanding of complex challenges and strengthens collaboration across roles, disciplines, and viewpoints. The purpose is not consensus, but deeper understanding and better questions to work from.

the experience: creative workshops

All good workshops start with thorough preparations. This is where we crystallise the purpose and constrains from which we design and tailor the workshop to the context and participants involved. Workshops typically include a mix of short inputs, facilitated exercises, and time for collective reflection with suitable pace and energy levels to throughout. We use methods such as systems mapping, ideation, and role-playing simulations combined with interactive tools to support engagement and sensemaking, with facilitation balancing structure and openness to what emerges.
