site visits
We curate tours to selected local sites that make sustainability topics come alive. The visits are a blend of on-site observation, presentations and facilitated reflection organised around a specific theme. Our site visits offer expert groups, international visitors and others unfamiliar with the Copenhagen, Danish, or Nordic sustainability scene to gain deep local insights efficiently.
learning through on-site experience
Visiting places and meeting the people behind them helps ground the understanding of how sustainability ambitions are carried out in practice and relate to complex sustainability challenges. Topics such as circularity, waste management, and energy production are approached through perspectives of everyday operations, constraints, and decision-making. This not only provides an inspiring shared reference, but also creates a richer and more nuanced basis for discussion and supports exchange across professional and cultural perspectives.
the experience: site visits
Each tour is curated around a specific sustainability topic and typically spans from a half day to two full days, depending on depth and scope. Programmes typically include several sites, short contextual briefings, and time for dialogue with local actors. Facilitated reflection is woven throughout the tour to connect observations across sites and relate them to broader systems and strategic questions. The format is adapted to the cultural and contextual composition of the group, particularly with expert and international delegations.
